Gaines Ranch is an establish community built in the 1990. Houses are priced in the area of $300 thousand, located within minutes of known employers: AMD, Freescale, Intel, and a couple of hospitals.
What I really like about the area is that it is so convenient to Barton Creek Mall and the Greenbelt. There is a lot to do in this part of town. One can explore the creek area by hiking, swimming, or by going for a long bike ride on 360. If the out-doors doesn’t interest you there are a lot of stores to investigate. Go shop on Brodie Lane at one of the specialty stores.
The roads of Southwest Parkway are wide and the scenery as you travel is very enjoyable. There is wide open space that hasn’t been developed so the scenery is natural and untouched. While on Southwest Parkway keep a look-out to see if you can spot our Texas mountains – known to many as “hills”.
